The Moon and the Nightspirit est n\u00e9 en 2003 de la rencontre de Agn\u00e8s et Mihaly et Seed of the Formless dont nous allons parler est leur huiti\u00e8me album. Huit titres de quatre \u00e0 six minutes qui donnent dans le folk doom pagan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">D\u2019apr\u00e8s Wikipedia, \u201cleurs chansons parlent principalement de contes fantastiques pa\u00efens et de chamanisme\u201d. Agn\u00e8s chante en anglais comme en hongrois d\u2019une belle voix claire et Mihaly joue d\u2019un growl tr\u00e8s mod\u00e9r\u00e9 sur quelques titres comme \u2018The First Tremor\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Si \u00e0 leurs d\u00e9buts, le duo jouait plus de world music et de folk comme dans l\u2019album Osforras, il semblerait qu\u2019il prenne un virage doom au fil des ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mais au fait, comment suis-je arriv\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9couter ce groupe hongrois ? C\u2019est Alice qui a ador\u00e9 leur dernier album et l\u2019a m\u00eame compar\u00e9 au groupe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blog.neoprog.eu\/index.php\/2024\/01\/01\/kalandra-the-line\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"10129\">Kalandra<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Et puis, ne nous mentons pas, la pochette dessin\u00e9e par Agn\u00e8s, qui en plus d\u2019\u00eatre chanteuse et multi-instrumentaliste, peint \u00e0 ses heures perdues, m\u2019a tap\u00e9 dans l\u2019oeil. D\u2019ailleurs toutes les pochettes des albums de ce groupe sont des petits bijoux graphiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.blog.neoprog.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Seeds-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12618\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.blog.neoprog.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Seeds-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.blog.neoprog.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Seeds-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.blog.neoprog.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Seeds-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.blog.neoprog.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Seeds-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.blog.neoprog.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Seeds.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seed of the Formless est un album lent, pas loin du doom, o\u00f9 les instruments acoustiques ont laiss\u00e9 place aux guitares \u00e9lectriques et claviers. Il y a bien un peu d\u2019\u00e9lectro-acoustique, sur \u2018The First Tremor\u2019 par exemple, mais ce n\u2019est pas l\u2019esprit de l\u2019album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018Fount of Everlight\u2019 est peut-\u00eatre le morceau le plus \u201cagit\u00e9\u201d des huit, une sorte de single pour disque de doom qui r\u00e9veille les morts. Le chant clair d\u2019Agn\u00e8s domine la musique ponctu\u00e9e des quelques cris de Mihaly tout particuli\u00e8rement sur \u2018Olden Resonance\u2019, un titre qui s&rsquo;\u00e9nerve bien dans les derni\u00e8res secondes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mais au final, je me suis souvent ennuy\u00e9 en \u00e9coutant <a href=\"https:\/\/the-moon-and-the-nightspirit.bandcamp.com\/album\/seed-of-the-formless\">Seed of the Formless<\/a>. L\u2019album est trop monotone pour sa dur\u00e9e.
