Combinaison de la mesure de la temp\u00e9rature, le degr\u00e9 Celsius et de la mesure du temps, l&rsquo;heure. Le \u00b0H, permet de mesurer la vitesse d&rsquo;un TGV entre Rennes et Strasbourg tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment.<\/p>\n<p>En d\u00e9but de semaine, je montais dans le mille pattes d&rsquo;aluminium fabriqu\u00e9 chez Alstom, direction la Bretagne, sans changement. Quatre arr\u00eats, 4h15 de trajet seulement et les deux bouts de la France se replient pour un voyage quasi instantan\u00e9, comme par un trou de ver. Il y a encore peu, 4h15 ne suffisaient pas \u00e0 relier Strasbourg \u00e0 Paris et encore moins Paris \u00e0 Rennes, alors Strasbourg \u00e0 Rennes. En ce temps b\u00e9ni, les vaches regardaient passer les trains en broutant paisiblement, aujourd&rsquo;hui, elles n&rsquo;ont m\u00eame pas le temps de relever leur cou que le convoi de voyageur est d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 l&rsquo;horizon.<\/p>\n<p>Mais laissons les vaches et revenons \u00e0 nos moutons. Un trajet Rennes Strasbourg s&rsquo;effectue, selon mes mesures, \u00e0 plus de 5.0\u00b0H alors que dans l&rsquo;autre sens il s&rsquo;approche de 0.5\u00b0H. Avec cette unit\u00e9 de mesure toute nouvelle, il sera bien entendu n\u00e9cessaire d&rsquo;int\u00e9grer le d\u00e9calage horaire, la translation longitudinale et des effets de climatiques de bord incontournables ainsi que la force de Coriolis.<\/p>\n<p>Comment se mesure le \u00b0H ? En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, le principe est assez simple. Avant de monter dans le train, vous prenez la temp\u00e9rature (ext\u00e9rieure, pas corporelle) et regardez l&rsquo;heure. En descendant du train, vous proc\u00e9dez de m\u00eame. Vous avez alors quatre param\u00e8tres T1, H1, T2, H2. Vous me suivez ? Il ne vous reste plus qu&rsquo;\u00e0 effectuer un calcul assez simple (T2-T1)\/(H2-H1) et vous obtenez votre vitesse.<\/p>\n<p>Vous me direz mon \u00b0H c&rsquo;est un peu du temps divis\u00e9 par du temps, une fr\u00e9quence donc. Oui \u00a0mais de quel temps parlons-nous, du temps qu&rsquo;il fait ou du temps qui passe ? Le temps c&rsquo;est de l&rsquo;argent m\u00eame si ce temps est un temps de chien. Alors prendre le TGV pour aller en Bretagne c&rsquo;est assur\u00e9ment gagner du temps, donc de l&rsquo;argent m\u00eame si je n&rsquo;aurai rien fait de ce temps de toute fa\u00e7on. Et gagner du temps pour subir un sale temps, n&rsquo;est pas une perte de temps ? Bref&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Bien entendu, vous pourriez \u00eatre surpris par le facteur dix entre la mesure est-ouest et ouest-est. Celui-ci s&rsquo;explique par un effet climatique connu sous le nom de &lsquo;temps pourri breton&rsquo;. Vous savez ce nom que scandent les parisiens en revenant de Bretagne alors qu&rsquo;ils faisaient du camping.<\/p>\n<p>La mesure est-ouest fut effectu\u00e9e lundi. Premier sondage 23\u00b0C \u00e0 8h01 \u00e0 Strasbourg. Second bin\u00f4me \u00e0 12h15 \u00e0 Rennes, 25\u00b0C sous un ciel orageux. (25-23)\/(12-8)=0.5. 0.5\u00b0H.<\/p>\n<p>La mesure ouest-est fut \u00e9tablie le mercredi. La temp\u00e9rature peinait \u00e0 atteindre les 15\u00b0C \u00e0 Rennes vers 14h39 sous des averses titanesques. Arriv\u00e9 \u00e0 Strasbourg \u00e0 19h05, le mercure avoisinait les 35\u00b0C. (35-15)\/(19-15)=5.0. 5.0\u00b0H.<\/p>\n<p>Autant la vitesse Strasbourg Rennes est supportable pour un organisme moyen, autant la vitesse Rennes Strasbourg est \u00e9prouvante. Car lorsque vous descendez du train, apr\u00e8s 4h15 de trajet, en pull-over et jean et que l&rsquo;air br\u00fblant et poisseux de l&rsquo;Alsace vous assaille, le choc est rude.<\/p>\n<p>Plus \u00e9tonnante encore est cette mesure de vitesse effectu\u00e9e en Bretagne lors d&rsquo;un trajet nul. Vous savez sans doute que la vitesse n&rsquo;a de sens, d&rsquo;apr\u00e8s les scientifiques, que s&rsquo;il y a d\u00e9placement. Cependant, mes premi\u00e8res exp\u00e9riences prouvent le contraire. La mesure a \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9e sur une plage de la baie de Saint-Brieuc, un site orient\u00e9 plein nord et non abrit\u00e9. 16h, baigneurs, soleil, 25\u00b0C. 17h, front de nuage, vent \u00e0 50 km\/h et 15\u00b0C. (25-15)\/(17-16)=10. 10\u00b0H. Un record de vitesse immobile sur un trajet \u00e0 peine plus long que la distance entre deux grains de sables sur une plage bretonne.<\/p>\n<p>Autant dire que cette nouvelle mesure de vitesse, tout relative, va dans le sens des th\u00e9ories \u00e9labor\u00e9es par Albert Einstein en son temps mais contredit assur\u00e9ment la limitation de la c\u00e9l\u00e9rit\u00e9 \u00e0 celle de la lumi\u00e8re. Il faudra encore quelques ann\u00e9es pour mieux appr\u00e9hender cette conception r\u00e9volutionnaire de la vitesse, des dizaines de milliers de mesures assur\u00e9ment, mais cette premi\u00e8re exp\u00e9rimentation bretonne semble un bon point de d\u00e9part \u00e0 des travaux qui ouvrent de nouvelles perspectives pour la science moderne.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Je viens d&rsquo;inventer une nouvelle unit\u00e9 de mesure de vitesse, le \u00b0H.
