Pour preuve je n\u2019ai que deux de leurs albums \u00e0 la maison.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Io Earth fait partie de ces formations assez m\u00e9connues du rock progressif, c&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire totalement invisible dans l\u2019univers du rock. Le groupe propose un prog symphonique \u00e0 chanteuse teint\u00e9 de folk avec plein plein de musiciens et encore plus d\u2019instruments. Rien de tr\u00e8s r\u00e9volutionnaire au final mais ils ont leurs fid\u00e8les.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors je me demande encore quelle mouche m\u2019a piqu\u00e9e en commandant Acoustic Vol 1.\u00a0Mais je ne regrette pas du tout ce coup de folie. C\u2019est vrai, j\u2019aime beaucoup l<a href=\"https:\/\/www.blog.neoprog.eu\/index.php\/2021\/10\/11\/deafening-opera-driftwood\/\">es albums acoustiques<\/a> et j\u2019\u00e9tais curieux de voir comment sept musiciens s\u2019en sortiraient sur ce format all\u00e9g\u00e9. Car j\u2019ai toujours trouv\u00e9 le prog de Io Earth charg\u00e9, limite too much, \u00e0 l\u2019image de leur artwork.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avec juste New World en CD et quelques titres glan\u00e9s sur Youtube, je connais bien mal leur r\u00e9pertoire. Et ne comptez pas sur moi pour comparer avec vous ce que je n\u2019ai jamais \u00e9cout\u00e9. Piano, violon, fl\u00fbte, saxophone, guitare acoustique, percussions et voix s\u2019\u00e9quilibrent harmonieusement.\u00a0Les voix de Dave et Rosanna se pr\u00eatent tr\u00e8s bien \u00e0 l&rsquo;exercice, lib\u00e9r\u00e9es de la batterie, des guitares \u00e9lectriques et des claviers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La pochette est \u00e9galement \u00e9pur\u00e9e, \u00e0 l\u2019image de ces m\u00e9lodies revisit\u00e9es par Io Earth. Les dix titres sont accompagn\u00e9s de quelques mots pour nous en parler et plaisir supr\u00eame, le groupe \u00e0 gribouill\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du digipack.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sans rentrer dans les d\u00e9tails, j\u2019ai particuli\u00e8rement aim\u00e9 le lent et bluesy \u2018Streets\u2019 compos\u00e9 pour l\u2019occasion je crois, le jazzy p\u00e9tillant \u2018Home\u2019 et le m\u00e9lancolique \u2018Fade To Grey\u2019 avec Adam qui accompagne Rosanna au piano. Que vous aimiez ou non Io Earth, je vous recommande chaudement ce tr\u00e8s bel album.
